The View from Here. Thursday, January 3, 2013. It's my dad's 61st birthday today! He celebrated by passing out while eating lunch at the mall today. I'll admit he freaked everyone out pretty badly. I guess when he came to the paramedics were there and wanted to take him to the hospital. He refused to let them take him to the emergency room and called my sister instead. She works at his office near the mall, and ran over and got him and brought him home. Anyway, we love you, Papa, and are glad you're okay!
