Saturday, June 4, 2011. Well, it was a blast. Despite sunscreen, I think we all got a little pink. When we first arrived, they had Quiznos sub sandwiches, chips, cookies, drinks, and cake. I ate almost a whole footlong myself! After that, there was water balloon volleyball. We have no idea which side won because it turned into a water balloon fight. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Cabin Trip #1 in 2011. This was our first cabin trip this season and it was a doozy! Sunday was when we went up, after church, and changing our clothes. Saturday, March 26, 2011. My friend has been asking me to post some of my ideas that I use on my kids for chores and other things, so, I am doing just that. I am not saying that my children are perfect, far from it. I have just found certain things that work easier for them with a lot less fighting on both ends. I went and got a jar and some craft sticks at the dollar store. Each child reaches into the jar with their eyes closed and needs to pick one chore. They have to do that chore no matter what.

Tuesday, January 15, 2013. We are currently in Palmer Lake, Colorado attending Missionary Training International - this is our final US based training prior to leaving for Ghana! The first part of the training is a course entitled PILAT - pronounced "pilot" - which will teach us language acquisition skills - not the actual language that we'll be learning.
