http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. Is now 15 months old. If I had to sum up his personality in a few words it would be. adventurous, mega silly and mischievous. And here is a pic that really shows his true colors. He is starting to say lots of words-. Ei ei (e-i-e-i-o on Old MacDonald song). Points and says "no! To things he knows he's not supposed to touch. He likes to back up and plop down on your lap - especially when he wants you to read him a book. Will shake his booty when you ask him if he can dance. He is ...

Friday, May 1, 2015. Our Family - April 2015. Links to this post. It is hard to believe that SEVEN years ago I became a mama. The time goes by too quickly, that's for sure. My little baby is growing up and becoming quite the awesome little boy. He is one thoughtful, athletic, loving, smart, kindhearted, silly, sweet. always-hungry, grouchy-when-he-doesn't-get-enough-sleep. otherwise mostly happy, basketball playing guy. Playing video games (and would play all day if we let him). He does NOT like. We invi...

Furr-real: July 2012
http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Little Z is now 16 months old. He is a bundle of fun energy. He likes to Go, Go, Go! Says "up" and "fat". Blows on his food to cool it down. Now prefers to feed himself with a fork/spoon instead of being fed by one of us. Likes to go for rides on the ATV. Freely gives hugs and kisses to us. Has resumed his signature scream when he doesn't get what he wants. Responds to simple requests (like "sit down" and "bring that back"). Likes to brush his hair. Links to this post. And no visi...

https://cooklaughlove.wordpress.com/2011/01/12/china-days-1-3
For the love of food – easy, healthy, and delicious. January 12, 2011. Thursday, May 13. The first meal on the plane was teriyaki (Japanese, but who’s counting) chicken with peas and carrots, white rice, a roll (white rice. A few hours later, we were served a snack of ramen (again, Japanese, even if the label did say Chinese Noodles) noodles with seasoned tofu (for you tofu haters: it was actually pretty good! Sweet and salty and slightly chewy). While we left the states on the 13. Which is why internati...

Furr-real: November 2013
http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 22, 2013. November. so far. With my estimated due date only 5 days away, we have busy around the house. One of the projects was to paint the "pink room" a more suitable color for baby boy #3. I settled on a very neutral color. 2 coats of primer and a thick coat of paint later. Also decided to paint the boys' bedroom a fun teal color. Links to this post. In mid-October we went with family to a pumpkin patch. The kids had a LOT of fun! Z and (very pregnant) me on the slide-.

There is rarely a dull moment with this guy in our lives. He's becoming quite the good little helper - even helping in the kitchen at times. He is a good brother and he sure can make Ro laugh! We invited family over to help him celebrate with a BATMAN birthday party. And later that day. being silly with his brother! The color dark blue. Going to the park.

Friday, September 27, 2013. Vacation, moving and so much more. The last few months have been. hmm, what's the word? In May we vacationed in Orlando, FL. We had a great time visiting 2 of our dear friends. Hopefully it won't be another 6 years before we see them again. We went to Wekiva State Park one day. The boys had fun on the canoe we rented. And didn't seem to mind the VERY cold pond there where we went swimming. And we all really enjoyed the Toy Story ride. One evening we enjoyed a good meal with aw...

http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 4, 2013. After another FAST homebirth, we became a family of five! I went into labor early in the morning on my due date (November 27th) and a little while later we welcomed this guy to our family. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lb. 12 oz. and measured 21 1/4" long. The story (the short version). Just before 1 am my labor began. It was rather sudden. contractions less than 5 minutes apart. Things were happening just like when I was in labor with Z. Later that day, my family stopped by.

http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Camping at Cedar Lake. We arrived at our campsite and the smell of the pines reminded me of Colorado. I teared up. We set up our tent and the boys had LOTS of fun playing inside it. Me and the boys. I'm fairly certain Z is unwilling or unable to smile in pictures that I am in with him. I promise, I just want ONE. Decent pic of me and the kids. just one. And itchy), but thankfully no poison ivy rashes. Good morning, Z! Make it into a rope swing, of course! PS Going camping wit...

For the love of food – easy, healthy, and delicious. China: Days 4 & 5. February 1, 2011. Sunday, May 16. Breakfast the next morning was similar to what was served yesterday. There were different sweet rolls. The fruit was the same. There was also whole tempura fish, bitter melon with scrambled eggs (they’re not kidding when they call it bitter! I couldn’t eat it), lotus root, miso soup, a couple different types of noodles, and squash. The second surprise was that dumplings with soup did not mean dumplin...
