Our Story

Our story begins with a chance meeting back in 2009 while Dave was vacationing with friends in Rockport, MA. This particular year one of those friends had invited his sister Martha to come hang out (and bring more beer because we were running out). We hit it off right away spending much of the weekend together. Some awkward Facebook messages later we were on our first date which consisted of so/so food, public disturbance, and Ghostbusters quotes. Miraculously she stayed.

Greetings from the nation's capitol in this post holiday season. We hope these words and pictures catch you up a bit on what is going on with us. Our Christmas tree was a little smaller than usual, but it brought the Christmas spirit just the same. Brent (Mary's brother) and Diane Wood went with us to the Visitor's Center after Christmas.
