Day Fourteen Diary

Langdon Beck to Dufton. 240 miles per hour. Sunny and hot, cloudy at times with occasional light breeze. We had a lovely evening in the bar at the Langdon Beck Hotel with Penny and Ben. These were the Pennine Way walkers we first met on Dodds Fell on Day 9. We met again at breakfast and left Langdon Beck at 9.30am soon walking up the Upper Tees Valley. Hawes to Tan Hill. 250 miles per hour. During our lazy day in Hawes we decided to rescue Colin. Although happy with his mother sat on the bed, as with all youngsters he was getting bored. After negotiation with Ann and Jeff our hosts and the exchange of a small sum he was installed on the back of Dave’s rucksack to join us on our adventure. Day Seventeen Diary

260 miles per hour. Overcast at times but mainly sunny and hot with occasional light breeze. We had a restless night being very hot with aching feet and legs after the descent down the Corpse Road. This and the descent from Pen-y-Ghent have been the worst sections of the walk so far. Boots and socks off we rested in the garden until her return and the promise of a home cooked meal tonight. It smells good anyway, Colin is drooling so had better finish now. Ta-ra for now Mo, Dave and Colin.

Day Thirteen Diary

Baldersdale to Langdon Beck. 240 miles per hour. Sunny and hot with occasional light breeze. We had a really lovely evening at Clove Lodge, our hosts Caroline & Kit cooked and served us a lovely meal in the dining room overlooking the moors. There were ducks in the house here as well but they were of the wooden variety. After a delicious breakfast we started out on our walk to Langdon Beck at 8.30am, it was already warm and sunny. We climbed up from Clove L. Ta-ra for now Mo, Dave and Colin.

240 miles per hour. It managed to remain dry except for an occasional shower but the wind very strong on the top and cool with good visibility most of the day. Upgrade to paid account! July 13th, 2015. 11:03 am - gtt. Getting a glucose test in a lab for the first time ever. Interested in seeing what kind of numbers I get. April 29th, 2015. Had another appointment on Monday. Had me pee in a cup, took my blood pressure, weighted me, listened to my belly with a doppler (FHT in the 150s), asked if I had any questions, sent me on my way. Much shorter appointments than when I had out-of-hospital midwives with the other 3 pregnancies. February 18th, 2015. 03:01 pm - FB.
