Monday, June 8, 2015. Thomas is ready for kindergarten now that he is 5 years old. He told me, "It's strange! I am 5 now, but I still feel like I'm 3 years old! I'm not exactly sure what he meant by that, but it made me laugh. For his birthday dinner Thomas wanted Macaroni and Cheese for dinner (the same thing I asked for as a kid). He also loves grapes. Edamame was not part of his list, but it got added by me. Finally, a natural smile! I love this picture! And I love this boy! Or "Look what I can do!

Sunday, August 10, 2014. Well, we did it. We moved. I'm going to try to summarize without giving too much detail (which is hard for me). Dave graduated. What a relief! Then he had from May 18th (graduation day) to July 16th (1st day of work) with no real obligations besides being a husband and father. It was really fabulous. I think he was bored at times, but most of the time I don't think he was. Sam turned six. We had a pirate birthday party. He is a planner! And now, for the pictures! Boys will be boys.

Thursday, January 29, 2015. Asher missed the school deadline this next year by 2 weeks. My little guy really wants to go to preschool because many of his friends attend and I seriously considered enrolling him in one of the excellent local programs. Here were some of the pro's and con's when we considered what to do:. Asher would enjoy a 3 day a week excellent program. Asher could enjoy playing with other kids his age. Asher would develop additional social skills. I'd have 3 hours "off" from Asher care.
