February 26, 2012. More ramblings from an obsessed Mom. Around 5 months, someone asked me how old Shelby was, after I replied, they asked how I liked it so far. I said that she was at my favorite age so far! She was so much fun! To which they replied, "every age will be your favorite age". This has proved to be so absolutely, completely true. I look back loving where we've been, and look at where we are now, loving it more than words. That's all. Just some Shelby love. February 15, 2012. February 13, 2012.

December 21, 2011. Even though I was ready for Christmas early this year, like always, December 1-20 have flown by. I kinda wish it wasn't sandwiched so close to Thanksgiving so I have, let's say, 2 months to enjoy my decor and the holiday spirit? That would be my ideal. We've pretty much crossed all to-dos off the list-disneyland, time with Grandma and Grandpa, baking day, visiting Santa, looking at lights and baking banana bread, which is in the oven as I type! Following on from our chicken stock recipe, we thought we would settle for a hearty chicken soup. However, we like to play around with things and decided to add noodles to the mix.
