Time has flown by so fast and it's amazing to see her cute, fun, curious, teasing personality coming through. One year ago (minus 2 weeks). Today No more cuddling, just curiosity. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Rendezvous in Boston and other Long activities. On our way to Rochester, we met Afton, Maggie and Al in Boston. Afton modeling her German outfit, which reads "Dad knows a lot. Mom knows all.". Breakfast at Faneuil Hall. I even babysat a bit despite jet lag. Afton's thinking "wow Grandma. Your skin looks old. But I still like you.". Facetiming on Mother's Day. Those cousins are so darling! I love Afton's tongue. She uses it to explore her world, show her exuberance, and squeal.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time and am really excited that it is actually happening. I even went in today and saw my name plate on the wall. Yay! I've decided to quit making goals about weight-loss, because the more I obsess about it, the more I gain. If I focus more on health, the weight-loss comes and I don't get into self...

Friday, December 21, 2012. Baker Christmas and other things. We are finally getting back to normal after last week's scary episode. We all actually slept through the night last night. and boy, did we need it! We have been one cranky household this week! I've been sick with a cold and Jayna hasn't been sleeping as well as she was. I think she's still a bit traumatized from last Friday. What I'd like to know, is how on earth can a company survive with the incredibly poor organizational skills they practice?

Thursday, February 28, 2013. Well I started off my week with yet another kidney stone attack. This one lasted for 14 hours and pain meds did nothing. Probably because I kept puking. By Monday at 4am I was feeling "better", though my body ached like crazy. I sure wish they'd just pass already, rather than just put me in pain all the time!
