This was an exciting event for Nicholas, as he has been talking about riding on an Amtrack for months now. When the moment came, he was a bit hesitant (it was loud! But he quickly overcame his fear and had a fun ride to Carpinteria with Daddy, where Mama met them for a nice walk and breakfast. He wants to know when he can ride again now! Oops, a little intimidated. I'm a conductor now! The Rest of Summer.

Semi-regular news and notes from David, Christine, and Nicholas. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. The Jacobsens had a wonderful Easter. Nicholas LOVED "grass church" - seeing the "wagoon" (lagoon), dancing to the music, running in the grass, and donuts to top it off - I don't think he'll want to settle for regular church again! A Visit with the Rudders. He was a real trooper though (the ice cream cake helped him pull through) and he ended up having a great time in the ball pit. Stine with Marisa and Emma.

We celebrated Great Grandma J-V's birthday and Mother's Day with the Howies and The Jacobsens, had a nice visit with Auntie Lisa and her friend Catherine, and celebrated our 7th wedding anniversay. Good times! Nicholas has becone quite a "helper" when it comes to opening presents. He always thinks it will be a car! Hiding Hot Wheels in Nana's flower pot!
