Though she is always a little disappointed that I won't actually let her reach into the hot oven to get the pizza when it's all done. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Our Family is Expanding. Ultrasound at 9 weeks. At this age the baby's head is the same size as the body and we thought it looked like two potatoes. and that name stuck. Ultrasound at 12 weeks.

He is primarily named after his nana's side of the family and, in part, named after his maternal grandfather. John's mother's maiden name is Corbin, Ruth was an only child and naming one of her grandchildren Corbin seemed a great way to pass along the Corbin name. Friday, September 23, 2011. When we told Julia we were going to Nana's house she was very excited and said "I will wear a dress", picked out her pink cupcake dress, and said "This will be perfect". Not exactly the outfit I would choose for a Halloween storm, but exactly what Julia wanted. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Hippos and Flu Shots. Big Sister and Fall Fun. Julia was asking to watch a video and I kept trying to reason with her that we couldn't watch any videos because of the hurricane and no electricity. The adventures of baby orzo, animal sidekicks, and newbie parents. Friday, April 29, 2011. I am very behind on blogging, so I'll start by posting some photos of our trip to Tampa. We had a wonderful trip to St. Pete Beach outside Tampa in March with 5 of Julia's cousins. Nothing like renting a house with 9 adults and 6 children (a 7 year old, 4 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old, 4 month old, and a 3 month old). Enjoying being hand fed ice cream. Feeding baby cousin Sidney. Enjoying a ride on Dave's Boat.
