Recorded in 2006 is my 4th solo CD. I made this recording in response to a lot of people whove asked for a blues CD that sounds just what they hear on my solo show-vocals, guitar and harp in a rack. Its a mix of original and traditional blues songs played live in the studio through vintage amplifiers. 13 of the 18 songs have no overdubs-The other 5 are more of a full band setting. Maria Muldaur guests on 2 songs. Diatonic, XB-40, Chromatic and Bass harmonica. It has 13 vocal songs and 8 instrumentals.

Dave Earl – S.F. Street Blues. By Peter Wheat,. This is Dave’s 4th solo CD, capturing the magic of his live solo blues shows. On this 18 track CD, Dave plays guitar and predominantly rack harmonica to a standard rarely heard. Dave is clearly someone who has paid his dues, and is able to create that authentic one man band blues sound. If, like me, you are a fan of the one man band blues sound, you will want to think about adding Dave’s CD to you collection.

I was 19 in 1977 when I started playing the blues in San Francisco bars and clubs. I was fortunate to have grown up in an area with a thriving blues scene. In 1989 I toured Europe with Ron Hacker and the Hacksaws. I played with Mississippi Johnny Waters and Sonny Lane for about 5 years until they both passed away. I currently head my own Bluegrass Ensemble. Dave Earl and Friends. In 2014 Ive focused on learning Old-Time fiddle music and have just finished. A new CD called Old-Time Ramble. At Fisherman’s ...

Blues Society of Western PA - Newsletter. Three Good Blues Singers. Posted by Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania - Maria K Saturday, April 7, 2012. Com to see what was on that evening when we encountered Dave Earl, a well known SF bluesman and very talented multi-instrumentalist playing on the sidewalk. Dave was using a rack mounted harp, a National guitar and some electronic backing tracks to entertain, collect tips, and sell his CDs and generally showoff his songwriting and playing skills. Century d...

My Rates for studio recording range between $40- $50 per hour depending on the project and whats needed. The smallest studio session I book is 3 hours. The studio gets paid separately and I can often help negotiate a really good rate for you. The studios I work at most are available to me and my clients for between $40 and $90 per hour so your total is $80-$135 per hour. Location recording is $100 per hour for the 1st 5 hours then. I need a minimum of 4 hours for location work.

Spirit Life - Dave Argue
Spirit Life - Dave Argue. Monday, October 28, 2013. October 26, 2013. I like to be in control. I like it as smooth as possible. I like to have it all charted into the future.all figured out. I like to savor the predictable, function in the certain,. And celebrate that fact that it all worked out as I had planned. Stuff that forever changes life. Like the end of 9 1/2 wonderful months in Milford, Nebraska, we said "goodbye" and then went into the different "jolty"present. And there is more. Centering, qui...

Dave Arlington - radio personality
149; . 149; . A math degree from an Ivy League college is not the usual preparation for a radio career. But somehow the numbers added up for Dave. He was a prominent voice on the air from ’71 to ’17 – much of the time in his hometown of Washington, DC. And preparing and voicing twice-hourly newscasts during the 2001 terrorist attacks.
