https://davecountscalories.wordpress.com/2013/03/20/weigh-in-and-calorie-report-week-15
Controlling My Weight By Counting Calories. Weigh In and Calorie Report … Week 14. Weigh In And Calorie Report Week #15. March 20, 2013. Food and Exercise Calories for week of March 12 – 18, 2013. Over the weekend, I was out-of-control in my eating on several occasions. On Friday night, I ate too much ice cream. On Saturday I ate too much pop corn. Not that it’s bad to eat ice cream and pop corn, it’s just that I couldn’t control my portions and ate way too much. Weigh In And Calorie Report Week #15.

The Indianapolis Polar Bear Race 2013 was held on Saturday, February 23. There are actually two races. A 3 mile race and a 5 mile race. I registered for the 5 mile race. Some people ran both races. The race was blessed with a beautiful sunny morning. The race took the runners through the Fountain Square area of the city and we ran by th...

Controlling My Weight By Counting Calories. Weigh In and Calorie Report … Week 13. A New GPS →. Water … Water … Water. March 11, 2013. So, I park my car at Freedom park and started running on the trail thinking I would do a couple of loops and maybe connect with the Craig park trail for a total of 10 miles. However, once everything was done and I ran the ‘big’ loop around the town, I put in 12 miles with an average pace of 9:48 per mile. However, once I finished the 12 miles, I felt a strange nausea and ...

Controlling My Weight By Counting Calories. Weigh In And Calorie Report Week #15. March 20, 2013. 1539 It wasn’t my best week. I believed that once I hit the ‘normal weight’ range (in terms of the BMI) that it would become instantly (and magically) easy to keep the weight off and control my eating. I thought … Continue reading →. Weigh In and Calorie Report … Week 14. March 13, 2013. March 12, 2013. Water … Water … Water. March 11, 2013. Weigh In and Calorie Report … Week 13. March 6, 2013. Controlling My Weight By Counting Calories. Weigh In and Calorie Report Week 12. Weigh In and Calorie Report … Week 13 →. What To Do In The Month Of March. March 5, 2013. To recap the month of February … I set three goals:. The second was to put in 27.5 miles on the Elliptical. And, I achieved it. On average, I spent about 45 minutes on the elliptical per session to achieve this goal. The elliptical is so different from running and it’s seems somewhat harder at times. So what do I do for March? They offe...

Skip to main content. Skip to primary sidebar. Skip to secondary sidebar. Losing it getting fit. Getting fit for life. Hi, I’m t. Yeah I was one of the heavier people on the trip, but I’m stubborn as all hell and loved every sweat-inducing painful moment just as much as the thrilling downhills and the glorious feeling of reaching the Pacific Ocean by bike! So what happened to the fit me? But I think my main problem is that I don’t put myself (and my health) first. So how did I get here? I’d been ov...

Five Things I Can’t Live Without During My Weight Loss Journey. We all have things that we need to get through our weight loss journey. Below are just a few of mine. What are yours? You know how they always ask what’s one food you could eat forever – maybe on a deserted island – and not get sick of it? My answer is always salad. I make what I affectionately call my “big ass salad” which has:. Chick peas (for protein! Shredded Cheese (very small amount). Bacon bits (also a very small amount). Eating healt...

I’ve Missed You, Exercise. Today was my first day really getting back into the grind of exercising. And oh how I missed it. The first time I did Weight Watchers back in 2007, I loved. Walking. I started off doing it 3 or 4 times a week and usually a mile each day. By month three – I was pretty consistently walking (or more accurately speed walking) five times a week and doing 2 miles per day. Not only did I have great success losing weight – but I felt GREAT. Even better than looking better? I’m re...
A Bit Off | Weight Loss Gal
https://weightlossgal.wordpress.com/2015/04/09/a-bit-off
I should’ve known better than to post about how great I was feeling after a bad splurge on fast food while on a road trip. Things have been a bit off ever since. I haven’t counted points on my Weight Watchers tracker in two weeks. Awful. I haven’t exercised in at least three weeks. Awful. While I’ve been mostly good with what I eat (just not tracking) – I did cave and had Burger King the other night. Awful. I’m not applauding my bad weight loss journey behavior … but how odd to still be losing. April 9, ...

Let’s talk about cheat days, shall we? 95% of the time, these splurges are SO worth it. The food is melt in your mouth delicious. And any stomach upset I have to deal with because I’m no longer used to eating those types of foods (sorry for the TMI! 8230; so worth it. Until this past weekend. I went to a national food chain for my big splurge. Typically I eat a healthy crab cake meal at this establishment – but the heck with that, it was cheat day. 8221; I didn’t, mind you. But boy did I want to. So now ...

https://weightlossgal.wordpress.com/2015/03/18/a-reminder-why-fast-food-is-bad-and-good
A Reminder Why Fast Food is Bad (and Good). I was in a pickle yesterday. I was hitting the road to see a concert (had to drive 3 hours each way! And knew my food options would be limited on the road. There wasn’t time to stop to eat at a restaurant and I was too crazy busy with work to plan an on-the-road packed lunch. Could I have prepared better? But I knew I’d have to do it. I got McDonald’s. The worst part was the feeling afterwards. Feeling so full I wanted to throw up. And feeling SO exhausted.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. 8220;Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. Posted in Three Peaks Challenge. On June 5, 2010 by Dave Courteen. So that was the song that I woke up to this morning and today is the day we start this walk. The weather is fine, a little bit misty which might prevent some of the more spectacular views from being enjoyed but at elast it’s not raining and the forecast is good. I’ve had the odd tweet or text asking about the timings and routes etc. So here goes:. We then drive to Sca...
