Dave Does China

From China With Love. Sunday, May 8, 2011. This may be my last post. I have officially finished my semester at Peking University. Right now I am in that weird in-between stage in life when you are moving on to new things. Over the past month, I have traveled to Tianjin, toured Beijing with my parents, traveled to Chongqing and Chengdu in western China, held a baby panda, and “graduated” from Peking University. Dave Does China: Spring Break Part 2 - Shanghai

http://davedoeschina.blogspot.com/2011/04/spring-break-part-2-shanghai.html

From China With Love. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Spring Break Part 2 - Shanghai. On our last day in Shanghai, we visited some of the traditional sights. We went to the beautiful Yuyuan garden. Then, we walked along the riverfront in the Bund district, admiring the architecture and the great view of downtown. That night, we hopped on the night train and made our way back to Beijing, where we would all spend the next several days recovering from our whirlwind spring break. Dave Does China: I Ride My Bike With No Handlebars

From China With Love. Sunday, March 6, 2011. I Ride My Bike With No Handlebars. First of all, sorry that it has been so long since my last post. Things have been pretty crazy the past few weeks, but I am settling into a routine now and my posts should become more regular. This weekend my entire study group went to a karaoke bar with our new yuban. March 16, 2011 at 8:21 AM. Hope the backpack travels are super! Anxious to read more adventures. Dave Does China: Oh My Mao!

http://davedoeschina.blogspot.com/2011/02/oh-my-mao.html

From China With Love. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. I have finally arrived in Beijing, which will be my home for the next several months. This past week was Chinese New Year’s, so I had the week to settle down into my small dorm room and explore the city. My living arrangement is basically what I expected. I am living in a double with my roommate Ryan Loomis, and I suppose you could say that it is “cozy.”. Unfortunately, it was quite dirty when we arrived and there is almost no hot water. One of the greates...

From China With Love. Sunday, January 30, 2011. You Strong Like Rambo Look Like Hero But Your Brain Just Like Potato. Arriving in Hong Kong, I expected to find a typical international city very much like NYC but with more funny looking characters. And part of Hong Kong was what I expected, with its large commercial district and huge skyscrapers with flashy lights. However, I wasn’t expecting Hong Kong to be so beautiful and sad. Hong Kong is built into a hill and is full of steep, winding streets. You co...

Free Running through Europe: March 2011

http://mikekellyisabroad.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Free Running through Europe. Hey guys, follow me as I spend seven months in Europe. Enjoying the culture, seeing the sights, and bare foot running through some of the world's most famous places. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Mike Kelly Lord of the Payphone. Travelling back to Freiburg having spent a wonderful four days with some of my best friends in London puts me in sort of a nostalgic, somber mood. My mini-vacation was on the whole quite excellent and almost needless to say, I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Free Running through Europe. Hey guys, follow me as I spend seven months in Europe. Enjoying the culture, seeing the sights, and bare foot running through some of the world's most famous places. Sunday, April 10, 2011. I apologize that this epic blog post is simply a pretty short recap of my past two weeks and is somewhat lacking in the anecdotal and humor departments. I’ll be at my best before you all know it. The time I spent in America was truly an amazing time, and was really a perfect break for me.

Welcome this is my blog. A simple and consistent wrapper for Javascript crypto. This post is about simple-crypt. A Javascript wrapper library for encrypting and signing data. Here's what I did and didn't want to do with simple-crypt. Don't re-implement any cryptographic algorithms. Don't get into key exchange protocols. Do write extensive unit tests, ideally including some well-known test vectors. Do make a consistent API for encrypting and signing data using different types of keys:. And JSON Web Tokens.
