Blogerhythm: April 2010
http://blogerhythm.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. Lest we forget those who made sacrifices in wartime for the freedom of Australia. For those who lost their lives. For those who lost limbs, or who were wounded. For those left with emotional scars. For the widows left behind. So that we may live a life of freedom in Australia. Lest we forget the one who made a sacrifice for the freedom of all people. The one who sacrificed his life 2000 years ago on a cross on a hill. So that we may be free from sin, death, and separation from God.

Blogerhythm: August 2011

Monday, August 29, 2011. A story about a girl. The sunset found her dancing on the beach before the LORD. Her hair shone gold in the sunlight and her arms stretched out with freedom. Why do you dance? Every day is a dance before my LORD", she replied. "Everything I do is to make Him smile". She watched the hills change from a smoky blue, to orange, and finally a musky pink, as the sun set behind her. Each minute brought new beauties and mysteries to these ancient hills. Blogerhythm: Reflections on hospitality
http://blogerhythm.blogspot.com/2011/08/reflections-on-hospitality.html
Saturday, August 6, 2011. This post has been stewing for a while now, and only recently I was able to jot down some ideas on paper. I was chatting about hospitality recently with some women at a weekend away. One of them told me her philosophy:. We don't do 'entertaining', we do 'hospitality'". This is very similar to one of my favourite proverbs:. Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred. Proverbs 15:17. A fancy dinner out, or a bowl of soup with friends? Thinking...

Friday, June 18, 2010. Mussels in tomato and chili. Mussels were $5/kg at the market the other day:. Start by frying up one onion and several cloves of garlic in a good slosh of olive oil. Add as much chili as you can handle. Add a chopped up red capsicum and continue to fry. Add a jar of passata. Or 2/3 of a jar should be good. Add a potato, chopped into 1cm cubes. Add some water and a stock cube. When boiling, add 1kg of mussels. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Massel 7's are no longer onion (or fructose) free. Below is email correspondance between myself and a Massel sales rep. I have removed identifying details. Long story cut short - Massel 7's stock now have onion, which puts them off the list for people with fructose malabsorption. If you have FM, or cook for people who do, then I would encourage you to contact Massel and register your support for them to revert to the old (onion-free) recipe. Below is my correspondance with one of ...
