Dave's Team in Training Hike Training. Lime Kiln Trail - 5/15/2010. On May 8, the new season of Team in Training kicked off. The Zion hike team had 11 members at the time of the kick off. May 15th was the first scheduled group hike. There were 6 members of the hike team present on a soggy Saturday morning at the trailhead. Dave's Team in Training Hike Training. Weldon Springs Conservation Area. On June 13, the team members that could make it hiked the Lewis Trail at Weldon Springs Conservation Area. The mosquitos were incredibly bad. The four of us plowed through them and completed the 8.2 mile hike in just under 3 hours. Since I forgot my camera at home, no pictures are posted for this hike. Dave's Team in Training Hike Training. West Tyson County Park - 6/5/2010. This week's scheduled hike was at West Tyson County Park. We had a great turnout by the team to hike part of the Chubb Trail and the Flint Quarry Trail. We proceeded down the hill toward the Meramec River bottoms. The walk down the hill was easy but I warned the team that coming back up the hill would not be as easy. Dave's Team in Training Hike Training. Labarque Creek Conservation Area. On Sunday, the hike team hiked the Labarque Creek Conservation Area's trail. It was a beautiful day and very comfortable in the shade but a little warm in the sun. The round trip hike was about 4 miles and we lost the trail a few times since I'd never been on this trail before. Just daily life stuff, that’s all. October 21, 2008 in Uncategorized. Seen as a sign of weakness. Saturday, we went to the NU Homecoming game against Purdue. What a game for Maya’s first trip. Even with some bad plays (a couple turnovers in the first quarter could’ve proven more costly than they did) and a couple missed scoring opportunities, the Cats really looked good.
