Freezing temperatures and snow prevail so spent a couple of hours at the gym this afternoon. After a bout of flu, and between snow showers, managed to get out for a run this evening which was good! A circuit out towards Middlewich and back covering 6.5 miles in just over an hour, stopping for a few stretches along the way. With more snow on the way, not sure when I might get out again. Since the Salford swim and having trained so much in open water in a wetsuit, I'd been finding it quite difficult swimming any distance in the pool without a wetsuit! Tracking my fund raising and training ups and downs for this years Great Runs and Swims! Friday, 31 December 2010. Last outing of the year. And a few thankyou's to wrap up with! After another prolonged period of snow and ice it's been difficult to get out for a run but managed it today whilst out on the Llyn Penninsular for the New Year. Ran 4.5 miles around Pwllheli marina in 39 minutes, felt quite good after the Christmas excess :-). Keep up the fantastic work! I hope I can help you out again in 2011!
