Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Hyper-Replication, QoS and Powershell. Follow-up to my previous post. I have have discontinued the pausing of replication and moved to limiting the bandwidth. I have written a forEach loop in Powershell to connect to my Replica server, then do some set of actions to the the replicas on it's primary server. I have found it very useful so far. I changed the interval period from 15 down to 5, Pause, and Enabled QOS. Replicas = Get-VMReplication -ComputerName #InsertServerNameHere.

Monday, August 24, 2009. Tonight I enabled a new theme on the blog. I have to say the Wordpress platform is getting better every time I make an update. It is remarkably easy to apply a new theme. The themes are very well done and have the modern web 2.0 feel. I add a little customization for some links and google adsense and I'm all set. Monday, January 12, 2009. Netflix has recently announced that through your Tivo HD, Tivo Series3 and Tivo XL you can view any of their 12,000 plus instant titles on your TV. Your Tivo will connect to the Netflix service and display your instant queue where you can choose your movie. I used to be a member of Netflix but cancelled due to under utilization. I find it to be a valuable tool for knowing if something is wrong or an event has occurred. Nagios notifies me on my corporate and personal email with warnings and critical notices.
