Reviewed by Hieu Tran. Is a wonderfully entertaining 70-minute show centering on one man’s existential quest for immortality. How so, you might ask? Works well, thanks to Fairhurst’s relaxed mood and the no-frills, seemingly just-scraped-together charm of the set. The show is playing at a converted art studio, with thirty or so fold-out chairs for the audience, a stack of plastic crates to hold up the slide projector, and an unevenly cut, white board to project the images against.

02 June 2008 @ 10:18 pm. Anybody Want a Free Wallet? The second reason my search for a new wallet has become such an epic quest has to do with the recent site of all of my life’s seeming cross roads: the Galleria Mall (see blog of March 26). Surely somewhere in the Galleria I could find the perfect wallet. So I started browsing. Eventually I found my way into Brookstone figuring it would probably be cheaper and, lo and behold, I found exactly what I was looking for for about $35. Perfect! After all, the ...

dave of no fixed address
Dave of no fixed address. A log of my travels during May/June 2007 and a big trip in 2008. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. As I made my 28 hour trek from Bangkok to Calgary, I had lots of time to think about the last few months and remember all the great times and browse through tons of photos and videos. I really loved these last few months. Some places lived up to/exceeded expectations, some fell way short. Events just unfolded in a way where it seemed like the logical thing to do. After years of rumors of b...

Dave of the Future. The Blog of David Fairhurst, or A Pessimist in Optimist's Clothing. I never met Leonard Nimoy though I seriously considered booking a flight to Chicago when he announced in 2011 that his upcoming appearance at a Star Trek. Convention there would be his last. But part of me didn’t want to meet him. I was worried that I might be disappointed. He was just an actor, after all. He wasn’t Mr. Spock. Because it was Mr. Spock I really wanted to meet. And tagged Leonard Nimoy. February 28, 2015.

Dave Ogden - And Why Not
Welcome to Infectious Racing.Com
David L. Ogden Jr (#669). An almost disasterous first weekend, Ogden finishes 5th in Open B and 6th in 30 B. The rain and mud caused havac, as he was unable to really open the Duncan Racing Int'l built Honda 450cc motor. Though it ran strong, the elements would limit when and where he could push the pace. David L. Ogden III (#699).
