Just came across this really great news report from 1981 on the future of online journalism. It’s about reading your newspaper from your computer screen. But it is time that we stopped using this ‘new’ technology as an excuse to lag behind. The internet is here and its here to stay. Now is time to really embrace it. Posted in Rise of the internet. On first glance the layout of both sites is very striking. Nature.com has a link to podcasts. As well as a number of Blogs. This to me seems like a smart move. While it’s technically not charging for online content it’s going to allow the paper time to gauge public attitudes towards such charges and it will be interesting to see how many people avail of the new epaper.
