I spent quite a bit of time answering them so thought it might be worth sharing this just in case it helps others too. 1 Does the Bible teach that there are times to pray with certainty - fully expecting to receive what we ask for and still other times where we should pray with less certainty of getting what we ask for? And how can we know the difference? James 1:5-6 is about asking for WISDOM.

If you’re not used to studying the Old Testament (as some of you probably aren’t), Jonah is a great place to start. It’s also a pretty good place to start if you’re not used to writing about studying the Old Testament (as I’m certainly not). A man being sicked out of an enormous fish.
