Chad's Corner: Balance
http://chadscornernixon.blogspot.com/2013/02/balance.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. I have been thinking alot about balance lately. Balance plays a part in every part of our life and we are in constant motion trying to achieve balance even while at rest. You have to have good foot work and balance in order to be successful at many sports. If you have bad balance, you are often out of position or have bad technique. We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to ba...

Chad's Corner
http://chadscornernixon.blogspot.com/2012/11/a-great-day-for-bradley-athletics.html
Wednesday, November 14, 2012. A great day for Bradley athletics. Anthony Parker back on campus to accept his place in basketball Hall of Fame. Congratulations Anthony! We were also able to reconnect with Billy Wright, Aaron Zobrist, and Coach Mo. Follow that up with a win vs Texas Pan-American and I have to say I had quite the fun day! I have to say that doing the Bradley games on radio with Dave Snell are a lot of fun and I can't believe they pay me for this! About Nixon Insurance Agency.

Chad's Corner: Things to consider when renting a car.
http://chadscornernixon.blogspot.com/2013/01/things-to-consider-when-renting-car.html
Monday, January 14, 2013. Things to consider when renting a car. There are some things you should consider the next time you rent a vehicle. 1) Named insured vs. driver. If you are listed as a named insured on an auto policy, the same coverage on your insured vehicle will extend to a vehicle you rent. If you are listed only as a driver but not a named insured on your auto policy, the auto insurance does not extend to a rented vehicle. 2) Type of vehicle. 3) Their Coverage or Yours. The tips you shared ar...

Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The War on 74: Part 1. The War of 74, for anyone who follows Bradley Basketball, they love and hate that phrase at the same time. They love it because it means Carver Arena will be filled with Braves fans all the way to the very top of the arena but it also means they have to sit through two plus hours of tension filled basketball. You could feel the energy in the place the crowd wanted Bradley to win and I think the Braves could feel that. The student section sort of “...

Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Confrontation, I hate it. I will do almost anything to avoid it. At times would could even say I can be passive aggressive. I know this is not the best way of dealing with all things, and I am trying not to do it as much anymore. Now everyone knows that when dealing with the public, you are going to have times when there is confrontation and it cannot just be shoved aside. About Nixon Insurance Agency. Nixon Insurance: What's up with that?
http://nixoninsurance.blogspot.com/2013/02/whats-up-with-that.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. What's up with that? This article got me thinking of other things in life that make me wonder “what’s up with that? 8221; Why can I check yesterday’s weather on weatherchannel.com? Why would I need to know what the weather was yesterday if I already experienced it? Why does it take five minutes to make one minute rice? Why not call it five minute rice? Is this false advertisement? Why is a pizza box square if the pizza is round? Why is there no dislike button on Facebook?

Intern's Corner: New Appreciation
http://internscornernixon.blogspot.com/2013/02/new-appreciation.html
Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Have you ever thought about all the effort that goes into starting and running a successful business? I was raised by a business owner; so, I've always known that it takes a lot of planning, research, money, you name it, but I never really had it all put into perspective. Actually, I still probably haven't. The example I'm referring to is just a simple business plan for my Entrepreneurial Finance class. We are only scratching the surface right now! Intern's Corner: Drive Safely.
http://internscornernixon.blogspot.com/2013/02/drive-safely.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. What better to blog about today than the weather? It seems the weather people may have been fairly right this time. I don’t know about you, but I hate driving when it’s raining, snowing, etc. In fact, I prefer to avoid it at all costs. But, sometimes you have to venture out, and call me paranoid, I always keep my extra Carhartts in the back, along with some hand warmers, gloves and extra food and water. Make sure your wipers and headlights are turned on. Drive for the conditio...
