Where the fork in the road leads. Friday, November 26, 2010. Requiem for a Cat. In 1994, my sister-in-law, Linda, queen of the animal rescuers, delivered to us a kitten. Someone had thrown it out into the parking lot of the office building where she worked. It weighed a little over a pound and most of that was ears. My wife was reminded of Ichabod Crane in the Disney cartoon version of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and that became his name. Im glad you have so many memories and had the love, with him.

Monday, August 1, 2011. Three survived and the runt died. They are so cute! Did you know guinea pigs are born with their eyes open and with fur and teeth? They start eating regular food a few hours after they are born. They are basically just tiny miniaturized guinea pigs. Here are some pics, so fun! I need to cut back on soda, from two cans a day to one. Walk a lot. (which I already do). Get in 30 minutes of intense aerobic 3 times a week. (which I don't do, yet).
