Sea kayaked 1500 km alone, for 68-days, around southeast Alaska. Sea kayaked for 69-days, from San Felipe to La Paz, in Baja Mexico. Sea kayaked 2000 kilometers alone, for 87-days, from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales, in Patagonia Chile. Sea kayaked 6000 km, for 132-days, from Seattle to the Bering Sea. Bike toured alone for nine-weeks around Central America. Bike toured 5000 kilometers alone, for three months across Western China and Tibet. Bike toured for four months through Southeast Asia.

Sunday, January 24, 2010. Boats, Girls, and Guns, Oh My! Then came the scary part. Dad told me I should keep a steady speed while boating by, but I was so nervous and inexperienced with driving, I couldn't keep a straight course at a steady speed. I could practically feel the machine guns pointing at my back! I would have to say that was a good day's worth of fun. Anyway, at home I rested, relaxed, and wrote up this blog post. PS Here is the map of where we went. I think the map is pretty conclusive.

Monday, March 25, 2013. The Pros and Cons of Shipping vs. Driving from VA to UT. How much is that going to cost? How are you going to get there? Right now its $500 round trip from RIC to Las Vegas. I am assuming a similar fee to SLC. So, $500 for the Jeep (one way), $250 for me (one way). Plus a shipping charge for gear, parts, etc?
