Capturing 52 weeks of my journey as an adult ballet dancer. Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Some men have thousands of reasons why they cannot do what they want to, when all they need is one reason why they can. Links to this post. Sylvie Guillem, the legend of our era. I must say I did very much enjoy Jiri Kylian's opening piece of 27'52" too (danced magnificently by Natasa Novotna and Vaclav Kunes) although some reviewers have described it as the least compelling work for the night. Capturing 52 weeks of my journey as an adult ballet dancer. Monday, March 3, 2014. Inspired by Bush Ballerina. What an inspiration she is, and a great reminder to me not to take for granted the wonderful classes and teachers that I have such easy access to every day of the week, here in Sydney. And more importantly, do check out her shop front,. Where she is selling products she has personally designed, to raise funds to get to more ballet classes. March 4, 2014 at 9:39 PM. Capturing 52 weeks of my journey as an adult ballet dancer. Monday, May 19, 2014. Now, THAT'S exciting! Dear reader, my apologies! I haven't been blogging for a while now, but hopefully you'll be pleased to know that I've been able to keep dancing, except for the few weeks over the Easter/Anzac Day and school holiday period, where it was a little challenging finding classes to get to regularly. But things are back into full swing now and it's really super to be doing classes regularly again. I have found...

Capturing 52 weeks of my journey as an adult ballet dancer. Sunday, February 10, 2013. I didn't think I'd be nervous. Being nervous in class was something I had not expected at all. Capturing 52 weeks of my journey as an adult ballet dancer. Wednesday, June 19, 2013. How sad. I just read about David Wall's passing today and wanted to capture my childhood memories of David in a blog. David was one of the first ballet faces I recognised as a young dancer whose only exposure to the ballet world in those pre-internet days was through the RAD magazines I received (I think it was monthly), and the VHS cassettes of full-length ballets borrowed from friends. Friday, November 28, 2014. But here I stand, assessing the damage. Terrified that I’ve forgotten everything (are my feet too fat for my slippers? Do my legwarmers make my legs look like sausages? Of course I can dance. The music starts and I feel it in my heart, and I dance. It’s good to be back. Labels: adult ballet student.

The Worst Movie Ever? or Misogyny is Hilarious! | Ballerina in my head

Ballerina in my head. Dance, Promises and Prostitution. Today is a Gift →. The Worst Movie Ever? Or Misogyny is Hilarious! May 24, 2012. My dear friends, this post is not ballet related, but I need an outlet, so excuse me whilst I rant. In our teens and liked the first movie, so were hoping for a funny, nostalgic afternoon. In one scene, there were scores of half-naked teenage girls having a party, when they are joined by the main characters, who are in their 30s. Well, we know they are not. After the mo...
