Saturday, October 30, 2010. Growing up in the Vallett family you learned how to camp! I don't mean just camping we did the whole hiking thing with it. Even though sometimes these hikes lead to tears we always had a fun family experiece. Counting how many mesquitos we could kill, squirrel stealing my sock with dad chasing after it, and dad reading by the camp fire are some of my fondest memories. Gavin and Laynie each got there own back pack that included the sleeping bag, flashlight, and water bottle.

Thursday, October 1, 2009. After Summer Comes Fall. I just have to say that I am so happy that I grew up here in Utah! I think sometimes we forget what a beautiful state we really live in! Every year at the end of summer the Standiford family goes up Millcreek canyon and has a BBQ! We roast the hot dogs over an open fire and play in the stream! Well the kids play in the stream because I think it is to cold for the rest of us. But it does make for some fun pictures! Brayden Dunn, so cute! So to help with ...

Thursday, October 1, 2009. After Summer Comes Fall. I just have to say that I am so happy that I grew up here in Utah! I think sometimes we forget what a beautiful state we really live in! Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Being a typical boy! Why is it when boys go outside they think that nobody can see them and they can do whatever they want! When Joel was little he and a couple of the neighbor boys stood at the top of the driveway and were trying to see who could pee the furthest! Yes, my mother was mortified but was trying not to laugh at the same time! So Gavin was outside playing with the dog when I took this picture! It just reminded me of Joel (and yes that story about him is true!

Saturday, October 30, 2010. This summer really has been filled with traditions that our family has! Draper Days isn't exactly a tradition but was one that got started kind of by accident. Since Travis and I got married and moved to Draper we have attened the parade they have every year. Its not like the one down town! It doesn't seem to be as crowded and I think we actually get some better shows here! How often do you get to see a blue tank? They have one in this parade! Laynie loves her Uncle Travis!

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Everyone that knows my mom knows that she loves flowers. She always has flowers on her table no matter what time of year it is (usually they match with the season). Thanksgiving point was holding their annual tulip fesitval so of coarse we had to go and see it. Here is some picutres of the flowers and how beautiful they were. You may just see some other beautitul flowers modeling with the tulips! See the extra beautiful flower). This was my favorite picture!

Monday, April 13, 2009. Since Travis and I don't have kids of our own we still didn't want to miss out on the coloring the eggs this year. So we thought we would borrow some kids for the night! My brother and sister-in-law were very nice to let us take their kids for the night and color some eggs with them. I guess this good practice for when we have our own kids! It also taught me some things to do and not to do! 1 Don't let your husband go and buy the eggs without you! We had a couple of dropped eggs!
