Dave installed a new version of Joomla using a new installer by his hosting company. Bottom line is that the previous install was overwritten and no usable backup was found. Am now re-considering whether the need for a content management system (Joomla) is really needed for such a simple site.

Saturday, 25 March 2017. This is what I have taken over, 4 years of neglect.where to start. First job was to start and remove the long cane like extensions of the weeds, I found a bathtub and a load of pallets, nice start. Once all the rubbish was cleared, at least I could see the floor, still loads to move but hey ho we are getting there. Tried a touch of weed suppression but it didn't seem to work. Dave's Updates
Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Almost as good as new. Dave is recuperating fantastically. Fridays continue to be the turning points, it seems. This past weekend, he's gotten stronger and was eating so much better and not getting nauseous. So we plugged the stomach g-tube and stopped the extra IV fluid. When he went to the doctor Monday, the Dr said, "Let's pull the g-tube out and you can discontinue the extra fluid and the IV nutrition." OK with us! Sunday, December 6, 2009. It's so great to be home!
