Powderkeg Launches With A Bang! Thirsty people of Exeter gathered last week at favourite hotspot Oddfellows for the launch of Exeter’s new craft beer brewery – us! Publicans, brewers, journalists, sportsmen and food and drink business owners were all invited to be among the first to taste the newest brews in town. The verdict was a resounding thumbs-up for the two beers we were serving: Cut Loose, a flavoursome and crisp Pilsner, and Speak Easy a well-hopped Pale Ale. The Keg is King. Got a lot of bottle.

The brewery has taken nearly 4 months to be transformed from empty shed to fully functioning brewery. An army of builders, chippies, decorators, forklift drivers, welders, electricians, pipe benders and fitters, gas engineers and various other experts has helped us along the way. There is still work to do, but we think it’s kinda beautiful! The Keg is King.
