MEDICAL CONTENT: When we went to the doctor for my 36 week appointment, we finally got a cervix check (fun times! I was ready for 1cm dilated - most women are at 36 weeks, and then you walk around for 4-6 weeks like that. Sure enough, 1cm dilated, but then she said I was 80% effaced! She got a dreaded call from the day care that there had been an accident involving her son. Needless to say, he passed away just a mere 8 days before his First Birthday. Heaven has a new angel this week, and I know that we will all one day be reunitied with this smiling, happy, playful baby boy. October 14, 2010 at 4:49 PM. I will be praying!
