With all the rain we got a couple of weeks ago, the grass has been looking greener than it has for a long time, but was desperately in need of a mow. never one to sit on the sidelines, lachlan got out his mower and helped his dadda. he even went over the the neighbour's yard and gave their new turf a bit of a going over too! Thursday, 13 September 2007. Bathtime - still or again. Well, it's been awhile since i've made a post so i thought i had better do something about that!

Yesterday, we took lachlan to the grand opening of komatsu at rocklea. he had a great time climbing into all the excavators, and got his first sit in a skid steer loader. i managed to snap some cute pics. Brett and Cassie's World Blog. Sunday, July 15, 2007. Death Valley and Lake Tahoe. From Vegas, we drove through Death Valley Natioanl Park. It was so hot - about 36 degrees. We saw the lowest point in the States in Death Valley - a big salt flat. The land is so dry. Lake Tahoe which is in northern California is so beautiful. Brett and Cassie's World Blog. Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Apparently it doesn't snow in London itself too often - something like every 3 years so I guess we must be lucky as there have been 2 different snow falls so far. The first was on 24th Jan while I was away for work in Birmingham but Cass got some good snaps. The first is just outside our door while the second is the park on the way to the tube. Our last stop before hitting Aussie shores again was Fiji - where we spent about 4 days swimming, snorkelling and doing not much at all really. We had to get some kind of tan before we went home! Yes, we always travel with Vegemite! I want to stay here next time! These huts have glass floors to look down into the water! The bar at Funky Fish where we stayed. Brett and Cassie's World Blog. Saturday, March 24, 2007. We had a weeks skiing in the French Alps at the end of February. It was fantastic. We had a day either side of skiing in Geneva. We had a good crew - five in total. Jo and Jeff, our old kiwi housemates, Yuta and both of us. At one of local restaurants on Cassie's birthday. We had to try the local fondue. Brett and Cassie's World Blog. Sunday, November 19, 2006. Well, we have just returned from an amazing trip to Greece and Turkey. We spent about a week and a half in Greece (mainly the islands) and 2 weeks in Turkey. We had such a good time. We did Greece on our own and met up with Brett's parents and 2 of their friends and travelled through Turkey with them. It was a blast. They are both beautiful places to visit. Brett and Cassie's World Blog. Saturday, September 30, 2006. We spent a few days in Ireland last weekend and it was fantastic. It's a beautiful place and we would recommend it to anyone. Friendly people and spectacular scenery. We hired a car and drove around the south-west coast. We spent our first night in Cork which was a nice place. The second largest city in Ireland. only about the size of Toowoomba! Our next stop was the famous Blarney Castle. This is the view from the top. Dingle and Ring of Kerry.
