Saturday, 17 December 2011. 17th December 2011 Lesson 101 on submissions. I really, really find rejecting submissions something that is very, difficult. As an author I know how hard it is to take each rejection professionally rather than personally, and how hard it can be to grow the thick skin required to paper your walls with rejection slips. Born in 1956 in the East Anglian Fens in England he moved to Nottingham to study for his business degree. In line with the current myth of the time he met, courted and married a local girl and they have now been married for over 36 years. They still live within 10 miles of Nottingham and have two adult children no longer living at home. Their daughter made them proud grandparents in 2009, again in 2011 and for a third time at the beginning of 2014. Eight years on, and Bluewood Publishing.
