Thankfully I waded through 3 science courses, 3.5 weeks each and came out the other side with three "A's" on record. Now for applications. My top choice is OHSU. The program is fiercely competitive. He's been all into canning which is cool. I see homemade jelly in my future. He's already made pectin (from green apples he picked at my brothers! So we just have to go berry picking. They are power-washing and then painting the building(s). All of them, but mine is the one that will be most bothersome. We had to remove everything, including plants, from our patios. Hum. We are on the 3rd floor and our apartment has only one entry per floor so we have a front porch, a back porch with a storage room and the landing between the 2nd floor apartment and ours as no one else uses this space. Sometimes the Lord uses scriptures to speak to you, but not in the way you expect. This was one of the most fun backpacking trips I've ever been on. Some of that, I think, was lower expectations on my part, some of it was Caroline being an awesome companion, and most of it was grace. I'm going here soon and it makes my heart happy. How does the garden grow. His powers of intuition seem to be increasing :]. Our tomato harvest has been enormous. We've been using them to make fresh pasta sauce from a basic recipe in my Martha Stewart cookbook. Saute onion and garlic cloves in a dash of olive oil until soft. Add diced tomatoes. Toss in thyme or basil. Simmer 25 minutes. We've eaten a jar or two, given away several jars and have some in our freezer. Yummy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Turn ugly - the Bible is clear - sin gives birth to death. With all the sweetness and love, it would be understandable to glance past the nugget of danger. But I want to be vigilant. I confess, I love dancy weddings best of all :D It was a bit more challenging being pregnant but I got in a couple moves before I had to sit down. Photo's are compliments of Kara Muse Photography. It was a full day today. Becka and I met my sister, Ann, her boyfriend, James, and my Mom (Kathy) and step Dad (Tom) at Mt. Elliot Cemetary to place grave blankets on my Grandma's and Grandpa's graves as well as on Tom's wife's grave. After placing the blankets and saying some prayers, we went on our way to our traditional lunch at The Polish Village Cafe. But I saw a oval shape sitting on a tree branch. As I stared up at it, it just sat there motionless. Pretty cool way to end the day. It's Been a While.

Tuesday, March 13, 2018. We headed back to Houston on Tuesday to see Bright Star. It was really good. Blue grass style with a very cool set. We enjoyed it! Monday, March 12, 2018. We spent a few hours hanging out at the Galleria then decided to head back home! They are growing into remarkable teens and they sure are fun to hang out with! We took the kids ice skating . they had a blast! And considering they haven't ever really skated . they did pretty darn good! Sunday, March 11, 2018. Our hotel had swans!
