Waiting for Baby Parker. Following the Parkers' journey through pregnancy and parenthood. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Why, oh why, won't you sleep? This does something to your self esteem, I swear). So if that goes on too long, David gives up, and I end up feeding him. OK, maybe we are both enablers. Cullen had some terrible virus for several weeks, and you can't just let your baby cry when he is so sick that he can barely breathe! And then he was teething. So now we have created this MONSTER!

While I had a great experience at the Mater Mother's Hospital, I was dying to be home in my own bed (and honestly I didn't think I could go another night alone without David). On the second day, with everything going great with Oliver, we were discharged that afternoon and made it home! Here are some photos from his first few days. Tuesday, August 28. Back to School Mantel}. I have been trying to figure out how to change my summer mantel into a fall mantel. The only problem is, I love my summer mantel and its not quite time for a fall mantel. So, I though the best way to make a smooth transition from a summer mantel to a fall mantel, would be to make a "Back to School" mantel! I took the "flag" down and put the window back up. For the most part, its the same set up. Of course, I made a banner. I used scrapbook paper. I made a dress!
