Madeleine played soccer this fall and her season can best be described by a comment she made after the first practice, "mommy, I don't think I like soccer.I can't dress up like a princess to play" She loved the parachute at the end of practice and she loved having her grandparents come watch her! The last week of practice she played with a sling on after breaking her cavicle the week before. We love you, Madeleine!

Our Corner of the World. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Dave is in the process of growing a pineapple plant. It started with the top of a pineapple plant we had bought. He then put the top into a glass that sat on our bar for a few months so that the roots could grow. We then went to a local plant nursery and Dave found out what type of soil and pot is best to use to grow a pineapple. So one bag of cactus mix and one shallow pot later we came home and planted the top of the pineapple. Links to this post.
