Thursday, November 8, 2012. When we saw the concrete structure that they built to take the tiles for the upstairs fireplace, we decided to ditch the tiles and go with the rough concrete. The tile may end up being used to create a water wall in the garden. Here's the concrete fireplace, complete with the ironwork we had Luis, our iron worker, build to frame the opening:.
