The trick right now is getting the investigators to. Keep commitments and progress. Lots of success I think. Wrapped up in the drug cartels in Mexico, and started dow...

Elder Johnson's Journey: Bible Bash
http://elderjohnsonsjourney.blogspot.com/2015/08/bible-bash.html
Texas, Lubbock Mission. Monday, August 17, 2015. This week has been one for the books. I wanted to give y'all a bio o my other comp, Elder Sommer. Bike Day this week was another success! Most of our investigators at this point have serious word of wisdom problems. (BIg Surprise) and aren't progressing towards baptism. we're working hard to drop the ones who aren't willing to change and find new ones who are. Bible bashing is a popular past time here in Texas. anyways. Posted by Jill Johnson.

Elder Johnson's Journey: March 2015
http://elderjohnsonsjourney.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Texas, Lubbock Mission. Monday, March 30, 2015. Another week flew by! Not a lot went on haha. I taught maybe 3 lessons this week total. I think that's more than last week though (:. I've been working with a new mindset this week. I know that there's someone in this area prepared to hear this gospel, so as I ride around and contact, I talk to everyone with the mindset of "what if this is the person that has been prepared to hear the gospel at this time? One scripture that I thought fit for my area pretty ...

Texas, Lubbock Mission. Monday, July 27, 2015. Being in a trio is the most fun I've had on my mission. If Elder Lake bothers me, I just go talk to Elder S...

Elder Johnson's Journey: What is that tie?
http://elderjohnsonsjourney.blogspot.com/2015/08/what-is-that-tie.html
Texas, Lubbock Mission. Monday, August 3, 2015. What is that tie? Carter sent me this picture this week. I thought his tie was very interesting. So, I asked him about it. He said he made it. I questioned him about really sewing a tie. He said he bought the craziest fabric he could find at Walmart and used a needle and thread to sew it. I'm pretty impressed with his skills. The fabric choice is questionable. Posted by Jill Johnson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thanksgiving Day Service in Lubbock.

Elder Johnson's Journey: May 2015
http://elderjohnsonsjourney.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Texas, Lubbock Mission. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. This week was all mixed up because of memorial day! We got assigned to the wonderful task of scraping calcium off the side of the Lubbock Texas temple. It was a blast(: I'll send some pics of that. The rain here has tons of minerals in it, so when it rains, calcium and other things build up real quick. It was pouring rain the whole time, and even though I haven't ran in months, I managed to pull second place. She will have calmed down. Wish us luck! I love...
