When i drove away from the heber hospital parking lot, this experience immediately came to my mind and i knew. That heavenly father was aware of abe. he told me in the temple a few weeks earlier. this knowledge let me put my complete trust in the lord. this was a complete tender mercy! A few sundays earlier on a family walk). Discouragement distracts us from being diligent in what matters most.

I didn't even have time to take a breath of relief. we were back in business. abe's elections were so different. they could only spend $20 but could basically do whatever they wanted and it was a whole week long. We then moved on to our photo shoot. I took a few photos, then i had to leave, so sadie took over. The next few nights, she put everything on hold and helped him. Abe went about the elections much less stressfully than sadie. We went all out and i made that $20 stretch!

Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Bless abe's broken heart- part 3. An update came ten minutes into the surgery. he was still stable and doing well. We had family prayer with all of us together in the conference room. my brother kelly said it and the spirit in the room was so powerfully strong. my sister in law showed up with sandwiches for everyone and the mood lightened a little. everyone was relieved, and hopeful. Abe had been protected and blessed! We still had a long way to go, but we made it!
