Sunday, October 21, 2012. We took a family day and went to the south hills to the City of Rocks. One large granite slab. You can't see it, but there were people out there rock climbing up the face of those huge rocks. They made me nervous innumerable times on this trip. 5 months pregnant. I huffed and puffed a lot. Everyone except Jacob is happy about it. I feel for him, but there's no sending her back, so he'll just have to warm up to her. I'm sure it will be fine. We're busy, but happy. I know you Southerners are all laughing, but it was 50 degrees for a couple of hours. I've decided that February is a short month strictly for the psychological well being of us Northerners. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Not Exactly a Green Thumb. The heat spell broke, and all seemed well . . . until this afternoon. We got a rainstorm, then the wind started picking up, then the hail came. When all was said and done, not much was left of my little garden. Actually, we got off pretty lucky. Our sweet Ashlyn was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, May 30th and we are so grateful that we were able to be there for this special event in her life. I love this picture of the all the cousins even though it is a tad blurry. Cute Ashy with her Grandma and Grandpa Schaeffer. Of course the goofy cousin picture turned out crystal clear!
