Podcast: It’s Ok to Give Up Chocolate. Saturday, March 04, 2017 / Comments(0). I have posted a new podcast episode. A popular Lenten devotion series online advertises itself with the line “Don’t give up chocolate for Lent.” I’m sure they had good intentions, and I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that series. However, this is really not a good way to promote your devotion. Podcast: New Season of Podcasting. Thursday, February 23, 2017 / Comments(0). Go hear or download the episode here.

They Knew Him Not. Saturday, December 31, 2016 / Comments(0). It has always seemed strange to me how someone can really say that they believe in God, but not be ready to base every aspect of their lives on what he has to say to us. This ain’t small potatoes! I also cannot fathom how anyone can just ignore the question of God entirely as it were of little matter. Don’t they need to find out the truth? The good we do must have behind it a greater purpose. Reflections on Being a Catholic Young Adult. Wednesday July 23, 2014. My birthday is coming up. Depending on how “young adult” is defined, I’ll either have one more year left as a young adult, or I haven’t been a young adult for a few years now. I think I’ll take the former. A few things have been on my mind as I reflect on the fact that I will soon make my exit from young adulthood. If it existed at all back then, hadn’t yet published the Bible Timeline Seminar. Or the Theology of the Body resources.
