Some fellow students and myself met at the school shortly after noon to fill up a convoy of photographic equipment. I really mean a convoy we loaded up six vehicles full of lighting equipment, our own equipment, and obviously our selves. Why so much? Sunday, April 10, 2011. I did not shoot any people because the white balance from the warm fire to the white strobe coming out the speedlight just wouldn’t work…. Later at night everyone went inside to play some Rockband meanwhile I stayed outside sitting by the fire. All I could think about was how amazing a photograph would look with all the empty chairs, fire still blazing, and the way the house light was falling onto half the scene. So I went inside to grab my Nikon and speedlights. Walk in the Park.
