Just my experiences in the HR World. Saturday, May 5, 2012. Top 2 Social Recruiting Aggregator. As many of you know, you can use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to find quality candidates by either sourcing or directly posting on them. Did you know that there are other useful tools that will do the same thing, but will allow you to post on one site, and then they will aggregate out for you? If you haven't used this functionality before, here are the 2 sites that I HIGHLY recommend! This is a paid service ...

Just HR Biz: April 2012
http://justhrbiz.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Just my experiences in the HR World. Monday, April 30, 2012. THE TIME IS NOW. An interesting thought occurred to me when reading a recent article on Fistful of Talent, how do we as HR Pros ensure that we are at the forefront of understanding how our business is changing while ensuring that we are "on the bus" to be a change agent? I learn the best by being in the field on the front line with our employee's and leader's and can honestly say that I would not have it any other way! Friday, April 27, 2012.

Workplace Unlimited: Blogging on Brewing
http://workplaceunlimited.blogspot.com/2014/06/i-have-just-returned-from-couple-of.html
Blogging on all things Workplace related. www.workplaceunlimited.com. Friday, 20 June 2014. I have just returned from a couple of IFMA events held this week in Stockholm and Barcelona. I enjoyed the events and thought to myself I ought to blog about them as I haven’t posted a workplace blog for a little while. What I hadn’t realised is that my last blog here was six months ago! I know time flies by when you are enjoying yourself or busy, but six months is a long time by any standards. On a while ago....

Just HR Biz: Don’t Let Recruitment Get Buried in the Sand
http://justhrbiz.blogspot.com/2013/05/dont-let-recruitment-get-buried-in-sand.html
Just my experiences in the HR World. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Don’t Let Recruitment Get Buried in the Sand. Over the years I have encountered several HR Pros that are focused on everything but strong recruitment/talent strategies. They get bogged down in the details, focusing on paperwork, policy compliance, and everything else that (for the most part) does not add as much value as finding ROCK STAR employees. Ever heard of the Rock/Pebble/Sand example for time management from Steven Covey? In order to b...

http://workplaceunlimited.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Blogging on all things Workplace related. www.workplaceunlimited.com. Wednesday, 19 June 2013. Lawyers Like it Large. I recently presented on workplace trends in law firms at the Legal Services Property Forum. And this blog represents my thoughts on the subject. The forum was held at the city offices of Allen and Overy. Whilst Allen and Overy’s office is a fine example of the modern workplace of a legal practice, and a great setting for the event, it is nonetheless quite traditional. Follow me by Email.

I’m a conference groupie; I enjoy spending time out of the office meeting new people, learning new stuff and drinking new beers. Workplace Unlimited: June 2015
http://workplaceunlimited.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Blogging on all things Workplace related. www.workplaceunlimited.com. Tuesday, 16 June 2015. Over use of the C-Word in the workplace. Often hear my fellow workplace strategists using the C-Word when referring to the office. I’m not talking about the obvious expletive and I certainly don’t mean that other offensive term “Consulting” nor am I referring to the C-suite or even my Seven Cs of Change. Blogging on all things Workplace related. www.workplaceunlimited.com. Friday, 31 May 2013. I was recently tweeted a link to How Culture Shapes the Office. A paper by Christine Congdon and Catherine Gall published in the Harvard Business Review. I saw Catherine present the paper at last year’s WorkplaceTrends. In this blog I will focus on my views on the Dutch culture. . So to begin with, did you notice that I wrote Netherlands rather than Holland? Tip #1 is to never say you are going to Holland to a Dutc...
