I’ve been playing, teaching and repairing guitar for more than 20 years now. During my time teaching and repairing, the most common problem I’ve encountered is that guitar players don’t know how to properly restring their guitars to reduce string breakage and keep their guitars from going out of tune. When this happens, you end up paying $15 or more plus the cost of the strings.

Hello, I am David Murphy, previously known as Cypher or The Panic Artist. I am a forty-seven-year-old (b. 1971), Irish Expressionist/ Realist painter and writer living and working in Dublin, Ireland. Since my father died when I was six and a half and I was brought up by my mentally ill mother who was both caring and psychotically sadistic and virtually all my teachers were women I grew up with virtually no male role models. Thus my artistic rebellion was not against patriarchy but rather matriarchy!
