Friday, July 13, 2012. Salmon and Bottom Fishing Trip to Cape Flattery. I just got back from a boating trip from hell! We're talking 100 to 110 degree temps, four inexperienced boaters, four kids and my pregnant wife. We were all crammed into a small, far from luxurious house boat, with what seamed to have more broken equipment than anything of use. I was long overdue for some serious fishing in a cooler climate with my brother-in-law-to-be, Ben. A nice morning's catch before lunch. Nice 25lbs king salmon.
