Welcome to Cindy and David's 2015 Adventures. Bribie Island to Gympie. Central Queensland scenery and Tin Can Bay. Our Caravan arriving at Mike and Laura's house in Glendale 45km north of Gympie. Double click to edit. Sandy's Birthday party at the Theebine Pub. Another reason for rushing up the coast was to catch Sandy and Ron during their visit to Mike and Laura at their new home in Glenwood near Gympie in time for Sandy's birthday. We made it on the day! Entering the Theebine Pub for the dinner.

Welcome to Cindy and David's 2015 Adventures. Mareeba and Cairns foreshore. On to Mareeba with fond memories of our last trip there. In 2013, we stayed at the Showground so we visited it again to check it out. It was twice as full as they had opened up another huge area. There were hundreds of vans and mobile homes and all looking very pleased with themselves. It is very cheap to stay there and there is plenty of space and it's not far from town.

Welcome to Cindy and David's 2015 Adventures. To Emu Park - (page 3). Emu Park WW1 memorial. A quite magnificent area built with money raised locally and the local council were responsible for its construction. Emu Park town from the memorial. The big hill is called Jim Crow, the sign says climbing it is dangerous. I contend falling off is more so. Keppel Bay Marina between Emu Park and Yapoon. The town of Yapoon, as usual, the most glamourous building is the Council offices.

Welcome to Cindy and David's 2015 Adventures. Emu Park to Innisfail - (page 4). The next night we visited our old friend Reid River free campsite to find it somewhat changed. We have often camped under the tree on the right but now the council have put barriers around more sensitive camp spots. Still a great spot for an overnight stay. Sugar refinery in full swing at Tully. The Johnston River mouth.
