The imagery is based on Watchbell Street and on Lamb House, Rye. The idea and title come from a short story by H.G. Wells who visited Henry James in Lamb House. The Door in the Wall.

After attending Rye Grammar School, I undertook a two year Foundation Course at Canterbury College of Art. That was followed by three years at Medway College of Art, studying Interior Design and Drawing. My Degree in Fine Art came later, through Independent Study with the University of East London, who awarded me First Class Honours.
