Monday, February 28, 2011. Syd Mead Master Copy. In college, I did a master copy of a Syd Mead. Concept of the Mars Rover for the film, Mission to Mars. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Last summer Scott Robertson. Asked me to contribute to his book project, Blast. The theme was really inspirational to me personally, so I was excited to be part of it. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. This piece started as color and compositional exercise with no particular direction in mind. From the early arrangement of shapes I envisioned an oppressive wall dividing a cold and war-torn landscape. A UN Aid Module is stopped while displaced people collect much needed supplies to cope with their harsh environment. I'm a retired law enforcement officer who has worked as a sworn officer for several different agencies from 1973 through 1998 having attained the rank of detective lieutenant. I have an Associate in Applied Science Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree; both in Criminal Justice. I also hold an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the State of North Carolina and have received more than 2,500 hours of formal law enforcement training. I maintain close contacts with local, state and federal agencies.
