Raves and reviews from one book lover's reads. Friday, April 13, 2012. A Complicated Love Triangle. Jeffrey Eugenides' "The Marriage Plot" was my pick for this month's book club. I'd read Middlesex a few years back and loved it, so I was really looking forward to this novel. I was a little bit disappointed, although I really enjoyed the book. Raves and reviews from one book lover's reads. Friday, March 30, 2012. I just finished "Committed" by John W. Mefford and I have to say it was a treat. The story is fast paced and keeps you guessing. Just when you think you know where it is going a new layer of mystery is added to the plot. This is a great first novel. The characters are well-developed and believable.
