Monday, July 26, 2010. California Trip Part Three. On Thursday, we went to the San Diego Zoo. It was cool that day and the animals were all out. It is such a big place we didn't get to see everything but what we saw was amazing. Our nieces Lizzie, Eliza, and Kate at the Camels. Alan and Daddy at the Donkeys. We played. a lot! Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Yesterday, I turned one year old! I can't believe it! I can do so many cool things now and I don't need my mom's help. I really like to wonder around our apartment and pull Mommy's books off the bookshelf. I think it's so funny, but Mommy doesn't. Monday, March 8, 2010. On Saturday, we all went to the Hostler's Train Show in Ogden. It was held at the old Union Pacific Depot. They had train's of every shape and size. Chason and Alan were in heaven. And I loved watching their reactions to everything and watching all the people. There was a huge Lego display with a Lego train running around the outside. It was amazing! There was a museum and a place were kids could do some hands-on things. There was a little train outside that the kids could ride on.

Saturday, October 31, 2009. Last night we carved our pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch. It was sooooo much fun! Daddy put the pumpkins guts on Alan again this year. Alan was a huge help cleaning out the seeds. He couldn't believe what his pumpkin became. Today, we took Alan trick or treating for the first time. He didn't quite understand why we put him in a pirate outfit but after he got candy, he was all for it. Who would be afraid of this pirate? It was a great couple of days! Yes, we're still alive!

Monday, July 27, 2009. A couple weeks ago, the whole Collins Clan got together and had pictures taken. Grandma wanted a picture with all the grandkids, 19 and counting. Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Our little miracle. She was born 7 weeks early after complications in my pregnancy. She weighed 4 lbs. 14 oz. and she is beautiful. She spent almost 4 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She was taken care of by the most wonderful doctors and nurses. After she was done with all the oxygen and IVs, she was moved to an open bassinet. We were then able to cloth and bath her. The last week in July, we blessed her at church. Saturday, August 20, 2011. We really love our new house especially the front and back yards. Alan and Daddy work out there almost every evening. Alan mostly follows Daddy around but sometimes he helps. Like mowing the lawn. Or planting our garden. We were able to get 2 beds made and planted this year. Our goal is at least six boxes. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Compared to July, August has been so quiet. We've spent a lot of time at home. Last Saturday, we went with Mimi Sue, Grandpa, Uncle Matt, Aunt Dee, Aunt Katie, and Kolby to Lagoon. We had a great time. We started with the kid's rides and Alan went on the whales,. Rode in the boats, and flew helicopters, space ships, and rockets. Chason rode on the big rides with Matt and Dee. They got me to go on the White Rollercoaster, but I'm a wimp and won't do that again.
