Friday, 28 November 2014. I do worry about where we are going in terms of energy consumption. Anyhow take a look at The story of Stuff. I show this to my kids once a year). There is no doubt that energy can improve our lives. I love my washing machine and lights, but it feels that most. Everyday electronics all need to be plugged in and charged. We need to try and get a balance. Labels: love our Earth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM. Ooo, I like that.

Jane Cabrera: Treasure collections
http://jane-cabrera-illustrator.blogspot.com/2015/03/treasure-collections.html
Saturday, 21 March 2015. I was inspired at 8 years old by a lady (Mrs Shackelton, I still remember her name) who I met on holiday here in Devon, to keep a nature table and I have been collecting objects of natural beauty every since. I was also inspired by a childhood TV character, Mr Benn. Who always bought home a souvenir to remember his magical journeys. And my little Devon town of Ashburton is indeed full of treasures. For local jewellery maker Yumi Martin. Also at North Street Gallery.

Jane Cabrera: Happy Christmas!
http://jane-cabrera-illustrator.blogspot.com/2014/12/happy-christmas.html
Tuesday, 23 December 2014. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday time. For me 2014 was a year of GRATITUDE. To have a wonderful home has bought such contentment. A safe place to live, work, play and raise my kids. And a cosy place to be in during the darker months.). I'm very aware that so many do not have this and saddened that so many any in the UK are in not in the same position. I'm angry that as the wealth gap grows, so does the ignorance and spite towards those struggling. 23 December 2014 at 06:27.

Wednesday, 22 August 2012. Here's my mermaid in all her glory! I stopped off on my way to Edinburgh at Seven Stories to drop her off. Luckily some lovely children drew her some friendly fish to keep her company! Thank you to all who came particularly Mia and Madeleline, who drew me some lovely pictures! It was great to see so many of you there. Luckily, I got to sit in on her Saturday event, without having to do too much. Her shows are truly amazing! I think 'exciting' is the word? The best bit about fes...
