When I think about plots and theme, I was impressed with Blood of the Dragon Trees. When we talk smuggling, we usually think of diamonds, drugs, even people, but endangered species was a stroke of genius in my estimation. Thanks for that, David. I first hit upon the endangered species angle with a short story, featured in Spanish Eye.
