Strictly speaking, some of the 'cartoons' linked here are really illustrations. The distinction? A cartoon is based on any item of news the cartoonist finds appropriate, and is his own take on that. An illustration has to accompany a specific article, and generally must follow the writer's conclusions. I've decided that, for here, if it's vaguely political and appeared in a newspaper, it counts as a 'political cartoon' rather than 'editorial illustration'.

I draw a regular monthly strip for The Walrus, and an occasional 'Ford Follies' strip for the Toronto Star. In the olden days, when I was young and lived in the UK, I did freelance work for D.C.Thomson comics: The Beano, The Dandy and The Beezer and Topper (the two had merged by this time). It was a big part of my life, so I think it's fair to include a bit of it here.
